Finnebrogue Bacon Factory

Dowds Construction were appointed by Lynn's Country Foods to Design and Build a new state of the Art Food Production facility, including the complete D & B of all M&E installations.

The Project consisted of the demolition and strip out of an existing Food processing facility, Abattoir & Deer Lairage, back to the bare steel structure and substructure.  The new building consisted of a 3000m2 extension and a total refurbishment to facilitate a new state of the art Nitrite Bacon and Bacon smoking facility.

Dowds Building Services worked closely with the equipment and plant providers to ensure the first Nitrite Free bacon Factory in the UK went into full production as per programme.
