£5,279 raised for Cancer Fund for Children

We were delighted to welcome Sarah Clements from Cancer Fund for Children and Eilis McSorley to our Ballymoney office today. Aideen Mc Michael (HR Assistant at Dowds Group) presented a cheque for £5,279, raised from our 5k walk/run recently held in memory of our late colleague, Gary McSorley.

The funds raised will go towards helping and supporting families impacted by cancer. Cancer Fund for Children are a local charity who help children and young people diagnosed with cancer, or living with a parent diagnosed with cancer, by offering support in their home, community, on the hospital ward and at their residential centre, so that no family has to face cancer alone.

We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who donated to this very worthy cause, the continued support from our colleagues and the wider community is greatly appreciated!
