We recently held our Dowds Fun Day & Cycling Bonanza, helping to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia. Everyone had a great day trying out E-Bikes, taking part in tandem relay races and timed laps! With face painting, bouncy castles, and ice cream, it was a fun filled day for all ages! 🎨

Cure Leukaemia is a cause that sits close to home with our Client Development Manager, Niall McCamphill, who will be cycling in the upcoming Tour21 cycle in France. Tour 21 will take place from Friday 24 June - Sunday 17 July, where Niall, alongside a team of 19 riders, will take on all 21 gruelling stages and 3,500km - one of the world's most gruelling sporting challenges.

Many thanks to everyone who made this day a success! Thank you to everyone who came to support on the day, to Dunloy Cycling Club & Clik-E-Gears who held stalls and to DJ Rocket Watson who provided us with the soundtrack to a fantastic fun day! We would like to extend a massive thank you to our suppliers who very generously donated towards Niall’s fundraising campaign.

An impressive £3,000 was raised thanks to everyone's generosity and support! The money raised will be directly invested into the national Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network which Cure Leukaemia has been funding since January 2020, allowing them to open and run clinical trials for pioneering treatments for the disease.
